Rebecca is a purpose-driven marketer and growth leader. Her experience ranges from building beloved food brands from the ground up as employee number 1 (Strong Roots) all the way to leading multicultural strategy for the fastest-growing beer brand in the U.S. at a Fortune 500 company (Anheuser-Busch).
She currently leads marketing and growth for Action Button, a social impact adtech company that works with purpose-driven brands, non-profits, and publishers to drive action and impact. This past election season, she brought together fashion brands, non-profits, and publishers to use their platform during New York Fashion Week to get out the vote – mobilizing 1 million Black and brown voters and showing the power of collaborative action.
Prior to Action Button, she helped launch plant-based food startup Strong Roots in the U.S. as Commercial Lead. By creating unique positioning within the cluttered plant-based category, she was able to help drive national distribution at Whole Foods and Walmart within less than a year of launch.
Her career in purpose-driven marketing, consumer-centricity, and commercial leadership began at Anheuser-Busch, where she held a number of roles on game-changing brands. She spearheaded the inaugural multicultural and CSR strategy for the fastest-growing beer brand in the U.S. (Michelob ULTRA) and crafted the only Super Bowl campaign of the year to feature a Latinx artist. She led marketing & sales for international import beers, including Presidente and Kirin Ichiban, and restored Kirin to growth for the first time in 5 years despite an overall declining Japanese beer category.
In her free time, Rebecca is an avid figure skater, ballerina, and rock climber – all sports she began as an adult – and loves helping others discover their passions at all ages!
