Rebecca is a self-confessed advertising nerd and obsessed with creative storytelling, she is a truly multi-disciplined marketer and holistic thinker. She brings a common-sense approach to big ideas. Rebecca is energised by leading teams to build brands that deliver impactful results and real business value.
Currently Group Marketing Manager at Telstra, Rebecca leads the Telstra Best of Business Awards program. She proudly leads the team who reimagined the 25 year old program and now operate, and are responsible for the entire end-to-end journey including the development of integrated marketing campaigns, content creation, customer journey mapping, 1:1 communications, PR, digital ecosystem and strategic partnerships planning and implementation. Through this journey she has become a passionate supporter of SMBs and an advocate for women, this role plays to both of these passions.
Prior to Telstra, Rebecca spent the majority of her career agency-side in EMEA and APAC. She had the pleasure of being part of Ogilvy, Wunderman and most recently The Monkeys, experiencing holding groups like WPP and a consultancy in Accenture.
It was at the Monkeys where her agency experienced absolutely peaked, getting the opportunity to create provocative and effective creative work for IKEA, CrownBet, Meat & Livestock Australia and Telstra.
Outside of her career, you will find her in Bondi hanging out with her husband, eight year old daughter and two rescue King Charles Cavaliers. When taking time for herself, she’ll be found somewhere between the beach, on her Peloton or curled up with a good book and a cup of tea or glass of wine (depending on the hour).
