Richard Levy is a fractional CMO and advisor with more than twenty years of experience helping businesses grow through clearer strategy, sharper positioning and a more confident and grown up approach to marketing. He has led global teams at companies including GE and MoneyGram, worked across financial services, tech and professional services, and now supports scale ups and SMEs who need senior commercial thinking without the full time cost.
Alongside his client work, Richard mentors directors and CMOs who want to strengthen their strategic impact and leadership presence. He teaches with Cambridge Marketing College and has completed executive education at LSE and London Business School.
Richard’s approach has been recognised by Professor Mark Ritson, who said:
“Richard has been a student of mine on three MBA level courses in Marketing, Brand Management and Management and has excelled across them all. He has taken this knowledge into the workplace, where he has a rare ability of thinking strategically and being able to execute when required.
As a consultant, there aren’t any better choices than Richard. He is probably the best trained marketer on the planet and has demonstrably grown both revenue and profit levels across numerous companies, both large and small.
This is a guy who understands numbers, knows what good looks like and comes with my highest endorsement.”
Richard regularly features on global marketing and leadership podcasts and is a trustee for a children’s literacy charity focused on giving every child access to books. He also runs half marathons to raise money for MIND which keeps him grounded and gives him space to think about the next big idea.
He writes a monthly newsletter called Ask Richard which is read by founders, marketing leaders and business owners across the UK and beyond.
