Rob Weston, VP Marketing, Loop

Rob began his career at Unilever before moving to the US where he was a Fulbright scholar on Stanford’s MBA programme. After a brief time with Nike in Portland, he joined McKinsey, working in both their Sydney and London offices.

After McKinsey he spent 10 years in retail, working for the iconic British brands of John Lewis and M&S, participating in the digital transformation of both businesses.

On leaving M&S Rob consulted for Samsung Europe before moving into the world of VC as CMO of BeautyPie. Having seen BeautyPie from Series A to Series B, Rob worked as CMO of Asda before joining Loop, the fastest growing scale-up in Europe that you’ve likely never heard of.

In his spare time Rob is a Trustee of the homeless charity Crisis, father of 3, and advisor to a number of smaller scale start-ups.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
