Ryan is Managing Director, Head of MediaCom Chicago, where he is focused on creating an environment for team members to thrive based on curiosity, trust, and psychological safety. He is also responsible for client relationship management and new business/organic growth. Most recently, Ryan was the media lead in support of the Walgreens business, part of a bespoke, full-service WPP solution, The Pharm.
Over his career, Ryan has worked across a variety of categories with major companies including Bank of America, Whirlpool Corp, Allstate, Disney Parks, and Best Buy. He has approached each engagement of his career as an “evergreen apprenticeship,” seizing the opportunity to learn something new and apply in later situations.
For Ryan, working on key full-service accounts has been instrumental to understanding the big picture – how different disciplines can collaborate and deliver even better work. This was evident in the 2018 KitchenAid “Makers” campaign and Walgreens 2020/2021 MyWalgreens customer platform and award winning COVID-19 vaccine initiatives.
Outside the office, Ryan enjoys going on adventures with his wife and two boys, playing the guitar, collecting vinyl records, attending concerts, and cheering on the Texas Rangers baseball club.
