Samantha Do, Brand Manager KFC – Yum! Restaurants International

Samantha is currently Brand Manager for KFC SOPAC, leading passionate cross functional and agencies teams delivering marketing and communications activities for the KFC brand, with annual turnover of nearly $2 billion.

She has a breadth of experience across FMCG and retail marketing: from traditional brand planning and into new spheres such as NRL and Supercoach sponsorship developments, merchandising strategy, retail execution and event planning. Samantha has been at KFC for over two years, and in that time has undoubtedly become one of the leaders of retail value strategy and execution across KFC globally. She has a sphere of influence, history of success, and ability to execute. As part of a franchised business model, Samantha’s key strengths are in collaborative stakeholder management, and the development and execution of brand and retail strategy.

Prior to joining KFC Samantha held Brand Manger roles at Campbell Arnott’s delivering annual operating plans and brand targets for iconic Australian snack brands; Shapes and Tiny Teddy. She defined vital direction that catalyses’ coordination across departments to deliver product innovation. From ideation and strategy through project management of cross-functional team to in-market execution. To ensure delivery of customer-focused plans and partnering with consumer insight team members. She demonstrates vital leadership and enhance clarity of mission through effective communication from insight, to brief, to creative development, to media planning and execution.

Her marketing career started at Henkel Schwarzkopf as a Graduate progressing to Assistant Brand Manager and Brand Manger roles. During her 4 years of service she built on global brand strategies to deliver local brand plans and growth for Schwarzkopf and Indola Professional brands, within the haircare category.

Samantha has a degree in Commerce Marketing from Macquarie University, and lives in Sydney on the beautiful northern beaches.

All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.
