Sangita Woerner, SVP Marketing & Guest Experience, Alaska Airlines

Sangita Woerner is the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Guest Experience for Alaska Airlines. She has been with Alaska since 2015 and collectively, we have an ambitious goal of being known nationally as the airlines the cares the most. We are constantly striving to deliver our brand of CARE through every touchpoint. Sangita has led many facets of the organization including brand strategy and expression, the full marketing funnel, loyalty, food & beverage, lounges, inflight entertainment & connectivity, aircraft interiors, uniforms and contact centers.

Prior to Alaska, Sangita spent 5 years at Starbucks with her last role as vice president of Global Coffee Brand Management. The bulk of her career was spent at Unilever learning the fundamentals of brand management and working on global brands including Dove and Degree/Rexona.

Sangita is a proud Wolverine graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Business Administration. She also holds her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Her biggest source of energy and pride is her family. She’s been married for over 25 years and has four amazing children and a goldendoodle.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
