Shadi Halliwell is a NED at Connexin, a fibre and smart city business in Hull, where she is also serving as the interim Managing Director of the consumer arm. Previously, she was the CCO at Pizza Express, where she launched its first loyalty program, Pizza Express Club. In 2017, Shadi joined Three UK as Chief Marketing Officer after serving as Group Creative & Marketing Director at Harvey Nichols, where she led a significant transformation of the brand’s stores, customer service, and digital platforms. Shadi spent 23 years at O2, spearheading the first UK retail launch of the first iPhone exclusively at O2, and numerous award-winning campaigns, including the relaunch of the Millennium Dome as The O2 Arena. She has always prioritised customer loyalty, evident in initiatives like Priority Tickets and Moments at O2, and the Rewards app at Harvey Nichols.
In her spare time, Shadi is a keen amateur jockey. Her love for challenges led her to enter the Goodwood Magnolia Cup without any prior riding experience. Her fearless spirit and rigorous training fuelled a passion for horse racing, and she competed for four consecutive years by 2018. Recently, she published her first children’s book, The Legend of The Tailless Prince (available now in all great bookshops!). Shadi also sits on the Alumni Council for The Marketing Academy Fellowship Alumni.
