Shannon applies design thinking and agile development to rapidly launch products that create impact in his role as Global Chief Innovation Officer at Poolwerx.
Before Poolwerx, Shannon worked at Deloitte Digital where he brought a start-up mindset to complex problems, including the design of Deloitte’s first physical factory, The Smart Factory @ Wichita.
As a purpose-driven leader, Shannon’s proudest achievement has been facilitating at UNLEASH, a global innovation lab that accelerates progress toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). Always eager to get his hands dirty, Shannon launched two businesses in his own self-guided MBA. His latest venture was THINKNOO, an awarded nutrition company that focused on putting an end to “burn-out” in our always-on society by reimagining a healthier way to enjoy coffee and get more out of life using nature’s superfoods.
Prior to life in the innovation space, Shannon worked for the creative powerhouses, Grey London, and media machine, Initiative. During his time in ad-land he was named in Australia’s 30 Under 30 for advertising by B&T, was a board member of the Media Federation of Australia’s NextGen Committee, and a finalist in both media and creative competitions.
When Shannon isn’t at work, he loves being a tourist in his adopted home, New York, and exploring the United States – it’s a long way from home.
