Shayna D. Jamison is a distinguished global leader in integrated marketing communications, renowned for her expertise in elevating brand equity and driving revenue through culturally resonant and impactful content. With nearly 16 years in marketing, advertising, and sales, she champions the narratives of underrepresented communities. Currently, she serves as Marketing Manager for Amazon’s Black Business Accelerator, a transformative $150 million initiative dedicated to empowering Black-owned businesses with vital resources for success within Amazon’s marketplace.
Throughout her career, Shayna has consistently demonstrated her commitment to diversity and inclusion. At the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, she spearheaded marketing efforts for the Hennessy Fellows program, a $10 million initiative that supports high-achieving graduate students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). She successfully executed the global “We Are” campaign in collaboration with Bottega Veneta, celebrated in prominent locations like Times Square and Piccadilly Circus.
Shayna’s early career included significant roles at Comcast Spotlight and NBC4 Washington, where she managed high-profile advertising campaigns and contributed to the station’s top-ranking market position during major events such as the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup. At VOX Global, she honed her strategic communications skills, managing client needs for major brands including AT&T and Bank of America.
In addition to her professional pursuits, Shayna has served as an adjunct professor at Trinity Washington University, teaching integrated marketing concepts. Her commitment to community service is further exemplified through her involvement with the Junior League of Washington.
Shayna is a proud alumna of Hampton University, where she graduated with honors in Marketing, and holds Master’s degrees in Finance and Strategic Public Relations from The George Washington University. Recently honored as a 2024 Hampton University 40 Under Forty and a U.S. Black Chamber of Commerce Power 50 Under 40, she continues to be a driving force for entrepreneurship and diversity initiatives.
