Sheryl Marjoram, CEO DDB Sydney Group

Sheryl always has and always will be in advertising, clocking up nearly 30 years to date. She is a force of nature, and DDB Group Sydney’s CEO, spanning creative agency DDB, digital shop Tribal, personal experience agency RAPP, PR powerhouse Mango, and healthcare specialist Remedy.

Her career is truly global, starting in Australia before two decades in the UK, where she led some of the most complex brands: Dove, SC Johnson, Expedia, BP and Asda across multiple markets including Australia, UK, US, China, Japan, Chile, and Mexico. She spent almost five years at McCann London, where she became CEO, and scored a number of high-profile wins including Just Eat (which she retained when the company merged to become Just Eat Takeaway), TSB, and Pernod Ricard. She was McCann Worldgroup UK’s Chair for Conscious Inclusion, and one of AdAge’s Leading Women in Europe.

She brings a rare passion and energy to the industry, staunchly championing conditions that allow excellent work to thrive. She believes in the people around her. And she believes everything is possible; she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get there.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
