Simon Cheng, Chief Marketing Officer, Menulog

Simon Cheng is the Chief Marketing Officer at Menulog, leading the customer and growth strategy for the business since 2019, including a period of unprecedented growth throughout the COVID pandemic where the business grew 4x in 12 months. Prior to this Simon has held senior marketing and commercial roles for over 20 years in high growth businesses, Carnival Australia/P&O Cruises, Qantas Holidays, Healthy Life and major global advertising agencies McCann and Ogilvy.

Throughout his career, Simon has sat on various advisory boards including Monash University, The Song Room, and has regularly appeared in various top marketer lists in Australia for publications like CMO magazine, B&T and CEO magazine.

Currently Simon serves as a non-executive director of The Australian Marketing Institute and is a member of the Finance, Risk and Audit Committee, and is also an advisory board member for the Australian Centre for AI in marketing.

An unknown fact about Simon is that he has spent some time in the past as the hand talent for Pizza Hut commercials, mastering the art of cheese pulls with pizza slices.

All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.
