Simon is currently the Global Head of Marketing at harrison.ai, which recently announced Australia’s highest-ever Series B funding round with USD 129m backed by venture capital funds Skip Capital, Blackbird and Horizon Ventures. Whose mission is, to raise the standard of healthcare for a million patients per day using artificial intelligence by developing, commercialising, and deploying AI tools that support clinical diagnosis.
As part of the leadership team, Simon oversees marketing, brand, communications, and media for harrison.ai. As a purpose-led organisation that is scaling globally, Simon is responsible for connecting marketing with commercial outcomes whilst putting the mission and the customer at the heart of the decision-making process.
Before this he had an extensive history as a CMO, working with purpose-driven brands WestHQ and Year13. Simon’s career has seen him work across multiple industries including technology, hospitality, and media. His growth as a leader has come from both in-house and agency background, which has equipped him with a strong marketing commercial acumen, delivery orientation and a passion for coaching.
Simon’s recent success have been built on a solid foundation of constant learning development through study and working with senior executives at some of Australia’s best media blue-chip organisations, such as SCA and ARN. Including overseeing The Kyle & Jackie O Show for four years as Executive Producer and delivering one of the most successful media launches of the last decade, with the launch of the KIIS brand in Australia.
He has 15 years of experience spanning both APAC and UK roles. Having spent time in London as Head of Communications for Men’s Health Charity Movember, helping establish the Australian brand in the UK. Simon is also a proud Mo Bro and Men’s health advocate who helped raise over $30,000 for Movember after launching the ‘Off The Eaten Truck’ fundraising festival in Western Sydney.
Simon is also a former Rugby League and Rugby Union footballer who has represented Australia for the Junior Kangaroos in Rugby League and the Junior Wallabies in Rugby Union. Simon, a fullback and fly-half was part of the Wests Tigers squad before joining the NSW Waratahs.
