Sinan has made a considerable positive impact within eBay’s North American marketing department. Her efforts have helped reposition eBay’s brand for buyers and sellers. She is currently the Director of Marketing for the Luxury & Fashion portfolio which includes sneakers, watches, and handbags.
Initially hired at eBay as a Senior Manager of Integrated Media and Partnerships, she shortly thereafter was given the opportunity to lead verticals marketing. In this position she drove the marketing strategy across North America in building a new end-to-end experience for eBay’s key verticals, including Certified Refurbished, Trading Cards, luxury Watches and Sneakers.
Prior to her work at eBay, Sinan spent over a decade crafting holistic media strategies for leading brands at global media agencies. She integrated traditional and digital channel approaches while finding unique audience insights to solve complex business challenges. Furthermore, she developed her full-funnel marketing expertise while working with clients such as Lyft, Intel, McDonald’s, and Procter & Gamble. Sinan began her career in Chicago at Starcom and also worked for OMD and Digitas.
Alongside her marketing career, Sinan is the founder of paper goods brand, Under the Sunlight, offering products to help people lead more mindful, purposeful lives. Under the Sunlight encourages people to honor parts of themselves that make them special and invest in the nourishing practices of self-care and curiosity.
Raised an “Air Force brat,” Sinan considers Honolulu her hometown. When she isn’t working, you can find Sinan training her pandemic puppy, Parker, or planning her next adventure.
