Stephanie Ng, Managing Director, Global Head of Marketing, International Wealth & Premier Banking, HSBC

Stephanie Ng is Managing Director, Global Head of Marketing for Wealth & Personal Banking at HSBC Bank. Based in Hong Kong, she oversees HSBC’s Wealth & Personal Banking brand and marketing strategy, creatives and delivery globally.

Stephanie is a Finalist for Campaign Asia’s Chief Marketer 2023 award, recipient of Women to Watch APAC 2023 and is also on Campaign Asia-Pacific’s Marketing Power List 2024 and 2025. She is a juror for various marketing awards including the Effies Global Best of the Best Marketing Awards since 2022 and is appointed as Head of Jury for Effies APAC 2025.

Prior to HSBC, Stephanie was with Meta (Facebook) where she led the Financial Services industry APAC initiatives across the Meta’s family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and Messenger). She is passionate about building businesses, marketing innovation and digital transformation, helping brands keep up with technology and changing consumer behavior to drive business results. She joined HSBC in August 2022.

Prior to her role at Meta, she was the Executive Director for Credit Cards at Standard Chartered Bank, having led successful teams in cards, payments and unsecured lending businesses in Singapore, Malaysia and globally for the Bank. She has also held senior level positions with Mastercard and AIG Insurance.

Stephanie brings more than 20 years of experience in marketing, business strategy, strategic partnerships, product innovation, portfolio management and customer loyalty. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and Strategic Information Systems from the University of Bath, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies (Marketing) from the University of Sheffield, both in the United Kingdom. Stephanie is an advocate for diversity and inclusion, is a co-founder of EmpowerHer female mentorship program at HSBC, volunteers at various women’s events and is an active Singapore grassroots leader.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
