Steve Wilson has around 20 years’ experience in industry as a leader in digital and marketing disciplines including delivering digital transformations in large, blue chip organisations, leading large scale marketing teams and significant P&L management. Steve was previously Chief Digital Officer for Admiral where he leads all digital and marketing for the FTSE 100 business and is a member of the executive committee.
Prior to Admiral Steve spent over five years at BT, first as Digital Director leading everything online for BT’s consumer business and later as Chief Commercial Officer at BT’s wholly owned subsidiary Plusnet where he led the marketing, commercial, products, digital, partnerships and strategy teams.
Prior to BT Steve held senior roles in a number of other blue chip businesses including Head of Online for British Gas Business, Head of E-Commerce for O2 and a global Director role at Nokia running online sales and marketing around the world. Steve has an MBA and is CIM qualified to the highest level. He has been voted one of the most influential performance marketers in the UK, a board advisor for a number of digital start ups and is also currently a non executive on the board of the University of South Wales.
Outside work Steve loves travel, music, sport and spending time with his family.
