With fourteen years’ experience growing some of Australia’s most influential publishing brands, Tahlia is a 30 Under 30 Award-winning leader laser focused on driving culture, innovation and impact.
Thriving in a fast-paced startup environment, Tahlia has helped set the vision and strategy for Concrete Playground throughout her eight year tenure. As the company’s fifth ever hire, she worked tirelessly with the Founder to build a platform that now connects millions of monthly users with the very best parts of their cities.
In 2020, Tahlia was promoted to General Manager to lead the people, culture and operations of the business.
Strengthening Concrete Playground’s reputation as one of Australia’s fastest growing digital publishers, she launched the brand into new markets and commercialised products and platforms that connect with its community in increasingly personalised ways. Under her leadership Concrete Playground has been named one of Deloitte’s Tech Fast 50 and Westpac’s Businesses of Tomorrow.
Tahlia previously held the role of Commercial Director, after spending three years as Concrete Playground’s top revenue generator and developing content partnerships and activations for the world’s biggest brands. During this time she drove record-breaking sales and executed innovative, tech-led campaigns that rapidly accelerated the company’s product agenda.
Before joining Concrete Playground, Tahlia launched her career with editorial, sales and account management roles at Oyster Magazine, Pacific Magazines and creative agency 303Lowe. A born leader with exceptional communication
skills, she has proven success in scaling high-performance teams and motivating them to execute on a compelling brand vision.
Tahlia spends most of her spare time at the park or doggy beach with her two year old daughter Maya, husband Nick and English staffy Bonita. She is an avid scuba diver, live music lover and fine dining fiend, and enjoys Pilates to unwind and reset after a busy day.
