After a twenty year marketing career both client and agency side, Tim has recently set up his own business, Galore: a new kind of creative business propelling by diversity of thought. The establishment of Galore comes after a career defined by working for businesses that have challenged convention and driven fresh thinking.
Tim’s career in marketing started in the UK, as a graduate of Red Bull’s Student Brand Manager programme. Upon completing his degree he joined Red Bull full time, working up to the position of Regional Brand Manager and gaining invaluable experience across everything from sales promotions to PR, and from athlete management to advertising.
Moving to Australia Tim took the leap to agency life, first at The Marketing Store and then at pioneering strategy agency Naked. In a nine year stint at Naked Tim developed as a client leader and eventually moved into the role of Managing Director for Naked’s Australian operations in Sydney and Melbourne. During this time Tim led the evolution of the agency, delivering new business growth, commercial success and globally recognised creative work.
While now focused on developing Galore, Tim also has entrepreneurial interests through his commercial partnerships business M7 Connects. Most recently Tim has established a distribution partnership with German digital fan engagement platform BrandTURBO, and he is working to facilitate other businesses expansion into the Australian marketplace.
Outside of work Tim spends his time in the ocean around Sydney’s glorious beaches, or helping encourage his kids to do the same.
