Tim Lefroy, Trustee – Riverside Studios & Chairman, Leonardo Advisory

Tim held senior marketing roles at Cadbury and Gillette before joining agency Mcann Erickson as an account director. Later he was CEO of Yellowhammer and then Young & Rubicam and led the privatisation campaign for British Gas and pre-flotation for the UK regional electricity companies.

In 1994 he founded Radical, a pioneering change management & comms consultancy working across both public & private sectors. In 2008 he joined the Advertising Association (AA) as CEO. There he promoted the value and values of UK advertising and built the AA’s relevance & commercial viability. He was appointed OBE in 2017.

Tim was a Trustee of the Riverside Studios 2013-20, during its £50m redevelopment. Through Radical Advisory he gives counsel to ceos & senior teams, mentoring privately and through the Marketing Academy’s Fellowship programme.

Living between Barnes and Winchester Tim & wife Sue share the energy & thrills of three daughters & multiple grandchildren.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
