Toby Whitmoyer, President, WA Division, Ste. Michelle Wine Estates

As Bacardi Limited’s Global Marketing & Innovation Officer, Toby is leading the transformation of Bacardi’s marketing and innovation approach to accelerate consumer centric growth across 170 countries around the world. In addition to driving this company-wide transformation, he is accountable for marketing strategy, consumer and brand planning, marketing capabilities, agencies, media, marketing operations, partnerships and innovation.

Prior to his current role, Toby held a number of marketing and commercial positions with Bacardi’s North American business including Vice President, Customer Marketing, Managing Director, National On Premise Business Unit and Vice President of Marketing, Rum Category which included leading the company’s flagship BACARDI brand in its largest market.

Before Bacardi, Toby was with Diageo where he led brands including Ketel One and Jose Cuervo, was the General Manager of the Tequila Don Julio Joint Venture and drove route to market transformation as part of the Commercial Strategy team.  Previously, he was a management consultant with Booz, Allen & Hamilton focused on growth strategy and operations for clients in the consumer products and media & entertainment sectors and was an entrepreneur in the premium tea sector.  He began his career in sales and marketing in the wine industry in both the US and Chile.

Toby holds an MBA from The Wharton School as well as an MA in International Studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania.  He is an avid traveler, speaks fluent Spanish and lives in London with his wife and two children.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
