Toni Wood, Chief Customer and Digital Officer – The Headlam Group

Toni is the Chief Customer and Digital Officer for the Headlam Group. Toni holds a number of other positions as NED for H&T Plc and REMCO chair and is a board advisor to ufurnish.com, Econsultancy and an investor.

Toni joined DFS in 2016 and was responsible for their customer proposition, including responsibility for marketing, insight, buying, manufacturing and merchandising.

Prior to joining DFS, Toni was at Whitbread plc, where she was Global Brand & Digital Director for Costa Coffee. In addition to her broad marketing expertise, Toni also has extensive experience of category management, retail operations and innovation gained through senior roles at Jordans Ryvita, P&G, Britvic and Sainsbury.

Toni has a BA (Hons) in Retail Marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University and Diplomas in Digital Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and in Business Administration from the University of Nottingham.

Toni is also a qualified practitioner and coach for Positive Psychology.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.

APPLICATIONS FOR THE GLOBAL FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM 2026 ARE OPEN

Applicants may apply to EITHER cohort regardless of country of residence, but must commit to attend both Residential dates & the Virtual day of their chosen cohort. Attendance is mandatory and a condition of acceptance onto the program.
