Tuula Rytila was formerly the Corporate Vice President for Microsoft Digital Stores, responsible for Microsoft eCommerce across Microsoft.com, Microsoft Store on Windows, and Microsoft Store on Xbox. With a Digital Store presence across more than 190 countries, Tuula is leading Microsoft’s strategic ambition to reimagine digital transformation in the new digital first world, while ensuring we deliver against our responsibility as a tech leader to build trust across every touch point. To support Microsoft’s mission to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more, under her leadership Digital Stores has become the trusted advisor for customers, delivering best in class digital experiences that showcase Microsoft technology and drive sales.
Tuula also holds roles as Member of the Board of Directors at eBrands Global, Member of the Board of Directors for Kempower, Member of the Board of directors for Breville and Member of the Board of Directors for Tuxera.
Tuula belongs to Microsoft’s CEO Inclusion Council, spearheading diversity and inclusion initiatives across the company. She currently serves as an executive co-sponsor of Microsoft’s HOLA employee resource group, providing professional development opportunities for members and allies of the Microsoft’s Latinx/Hispanic community. In 2019, she was elected as a member of the Board of Directors for Bang & Olufsen, an iconic Danish and global consumer electronics brand. Tuula also serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors of the National Nordic Museum in Seattle.
Tuula joined Microsoft in April 2014 as Microsoft completed its acquisition of Nokia. Prior to the acquisition, Tuula served as the CMO of Nokia.
