Vicky McNamara, VP Marketing, Workday

Vicky is Vice President of Marketing at Workday, where she leads the UK&I marketing function, setting the vision and strategy to drive business growth through brand, demand generation, and customer advocacy. She leads with clarity, compassion, and commercial acumen—transforming strategy and team culture to drive growth at scale. Her remit includes direct leadership of the UK&I team and close collaboration with EMEA and global colleagues, ensuring cross-functional alignment that strengthens execution.

Before joining Workday, she was Senior Director at Salesforce, leading UK&I Field Demand Generation and Campaign Success. She has also held roles at Atos, IBM, and Smiths Group. Over her 20+ year career, Vicky has delivered strategic, award-winning marketing programmes and consistently driven commercial growth across complex, global environments.

Recognised for her contributions to the field, Vicky was named a Future B2B CMO 100 Award winner for 2025 by HotTopics, highlighting her influence and commitment to excellence in B2B marketing. She is also a committed mentor, supporting emerging talent across the industry. Vicky lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and three children.

The program is free but highly selective so firstly we ask senior business leaders working within Marketing, Media and Advertising to nominate the best of their emerging leaders for a place on the program. All ‘nominees’ then receive an ‘Invitation to Apply’ which includes essential information about the process.
