Vito is an independent board/executive advisor and entrepreneur and former McKinsey Senior Partner. He just retired after being the global co-leader of McKinsey & Company Retail Banking Practice. He first led the EMEA Retail & Private Banking Practice and has been location manager of our Milan Office until 2013, then he moved to Asia where he spent 5 years in Tokyo and 5 years in Hong Kong. Over the past 27 years, Vito helped domestic and global financial institutions accelerate growth and achieve substantial and lasting performance improvements. He developed strategic and operational transformation for major domestic, regional and global leading banks, wealth and asset managers and payment institutions.
Vito’s experience ranges from leading strategy, design and implementation of major transformations for global banking players across Asian markets to leading the growth and digital strategy and implementation for leading asset managers and insurance players.
Vito took his Engineering Degree at Politecnico di Milano, with 100/100 cum laude. Before joining McKinsey, he worked for an engineering company and for another consulting firm for 6 years. Vito is very well regarded in the banking community because of several publication in major newspapers.
