Vugar was the CMO of Baku Electronics – one of the top consumer electronics & home appliances retail chains in the Caucasus. As a Senior Director, he has an overall responsibility for Marketing, E-Commerce and Customer Service directions and reports directly to the CEO. He is the Member of Executive Board since August 2022.
Prior to this role, Vugar, as a Group Marketing Director, was leading a centralized marketing team of ATL Group that contain several companies mostly from IT, software development and E-Commerce industries.
The biggest challenge of his professional life was living far from his family and infant son for two and a half years when he decided to launch a new challenge and study MBA in Poland and Germany. During his MBA years, he was quite an active startup aficionado. He co-founded two different startups that enrolled to Google Poland’s accelerator program and awarded by German Research Institute as the winner of innovation bootcamp.
Vugar is an avid book reader who completes his 52-books-per-year challenge regularly. His domain knowledge spins around marketing strategy, communications, branding, advertising, behavioral economics, digital marketing and e-commerce. He enjoys sharing his experience and knowledge via his professional blog on Medium and LinkedIn.
He holds bachelor & master in Business Administration on top of International MBA from the joint program between HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management and Wroclaw Business University. His MBA thesis is “Neuromarketing in digital”.
