Zili Shao is an accomplished lawyer and investment banker with extensive experience in the financial and legal industries. He also has extensive public company board and corporate governance experience.
Zili currently serves as an independent director of Bank of Montreal (China) Limited, Yum China Holdings., Inc., listed on NYSE/HKEX, and EDP (Energias de Portugal), listed on EURONEXT Lisboa. He is also a senior advisor to Bank of New York Mellon, Deutsche Borsch Group, and Houlihan Lokey (China) Limited. Besides, he is the founder and Chairman of MountVue Capital Management, a private equity fund manager in China.
Previous senior positions Zili had taken over the years including Co-Chairman of King & Wood Mallesons China, Chairman and CEO of J.P. Morgan China, Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Asia, and Managing Partner of Asia Pacific for Linklaters.
Zili is a qualified lawyer in the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong and Australia. He was educated at The University of Melbourne and The China University of Politics and Law.
