British Airways enable UK CMO’s to take flight

British Airways is partnering with the not-for-profit organisation The Marketing Academy and their recently launched Fellowship Programme to help the future careers of CMO’s and Marketing Directors take off!

The Marketing Academy Fellowship Programme brings together an elite group of Board level mentors, functional experts and world class companies to share their knowledge and insight with the emerging generation of CEOs.  British Airways joins sponsors ISBA as headline partners for the 12 month, part time mentoring, development and learning programme which has been developed in partnership with McKinsey & Company.

The Marketing Academy’s Founder, Sherilyn Shackell said: “The power of the marketing skill set is often over looked and under utilised in board rooms. It is our aim is to work with marketers at the highest levels to help them bridge the knowledge gap needed to take them onto Boards and into CEO roles.  We are beyond delighted that British Airways is supporting the Fellowship Programme.”

This unique programme commences in October 2013 and will see 15 ‘Fellows’ receive exclusive access to personal board-level guidance from an elite group of current Chairmen, NEDs, CEOs, CFOs as well as intense Board master classes covering all elements of Board stewardship such as corporate finance, corporate governance, organisational design, leading high performance boards and more. The programme kicks off with an all expenses paid 3 day ‘Residential’ in Austria with flights courtesy of British Airways.
