Kristof Fahy, Chief Customer Officer – Hostelworld Group

Kristof joined Hostelworld Group in 2018 as Chief Customer Officer, a newly created role for the company that reinforces its commitment to putting the customer at the heart. As well as overseeing the marketing and customer experience, Kristof is also responsible for developing the strategy for the business.

Before joining Hostelworld, Kristof held COO and CMO roles at LadbrokesCoral, William Hill and Telegraph Media Group. Prior to that, he honed his marketing skills in senior marketing roles at Yahoo!, BlackBerry and Orange.

Kristof had his first hostelling experience in the Orkney Islands where during his stay he shared a dorm room with a group of oil workers and truckers. It goes to show that you never know who you might end up meeting in a hostel. It was certainly an experience to remember!
