Sholto is Chief Marketing Officer of Hays, a FTSE 250 recruitment services firm with operations in 34 markets and over 11,000 employees.
Prior to Hays, Sholto was Global Head of Brand & Marketing Communications at Thomson Reuters. He joined Thomson Reuters after eight years in senior marketing roles at BT Group. Prior to BT, Sholto worked in advertising after graduating in Management Sciences from Warwick Business School.
Sholto is also an Advisory Board Member at Bright Idea Education, a teaching and learning interactive gaming platform at Seed Round funding stage. The platform incorporates a variety of learning approaches for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
In 2007/9, Sholto chaired a Government Working Party to mediate and resolve a long-standing commercial dispute between the UK’s 60 racecourses and 600 on-course bookmakers.
Sholto is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Fellow of the Marketing Academy, and a Council Member of the Incorporated Society of British Advertisers.
