Suzi Watford, CMO – The Wall Street Journal

Suzi Watford is The Wall Street Journal EVP & Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing global sales & marketing, all digital revenue and the overall WSJ membership strategy. Leading an international team, she spearheads strategy, sales and, marketing subscriptions, events and conferences and the loyalty program, WSJ+.

She assumed the role in November 2014 and launched WSJ’s brand positioning – Read Ambitiously. Suzi has led WSJ to the biggest membership in it’s history – almost doubling their digital membership and attracting its largest ever audience of student members. She has significantly grown the WSJ’s conference business and taken it global. With more than a decade of experience in the media industry, Ms. Watford joined Dow Jones from News UK. Most recently, she served as Sales & Marketing Director for The Times and The Sunday Times.
