Catherine Sin, Senior B2B Marketing Strategy Manager, Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets – HSBC

Catherine Sin is an enthusiastic, award-winning sales and marketing leader with international experience and proven success in developing customer-focused strategies, forging solid relationships and driving growth. In her current role as Senior B2B Marketing Strategy Manager at HSBC, she leads and drives global strategic projects for HSBC Commercial Banking and Global Banking & Markets.

She relocated to the UK 2 years ago. During the time she has led the planning and delivery of the B2B Marketing Structure Design, Customer Centricity, Sustainability and Foreign Exchange programmes. Prior to this she led product marketing across 19 markets in Asia Pacific where she created a targeted strategy for the Hong Kong Warrants business and a Renminbi marketing plan to support HSBC’s growth ambitions. She was also selected on a short term attachment in Shanghai where she co-led the launch of HSBC’s WeChat enterprise account.

Before this role, Catherine was Project Manager at Hong Kong Trade Development Council where she managed international conferences and mega marketing campaigns to showcase Hong Kong as a hub for international businesses. She first started at HSBC in 2010 and as a Corporate Relationship Manager she brought in HKD100m+ annual revenue and represented the bank in winning the Outstanding Young Salesperson Award.

Originally from Hong Kong, Catherine is a passionate travel guru and she has done solo travels in Austria, Italy, Germany, France, Philippines, Malta, Singapore, Japan, (and counting). Enterprising at heart, she has a keen interest to take up new challenges and her favourite hobbies include Argentine Tango, Skiing, drumming for Dragon Boats and playing the Trombone. She speaks Cantonese, English, Mandarin, and a bit of German.
