Charlotte has been a freelance copywriter since 2015. Her clients have included BT, eporta, B&Q and Tenfold Media where she has worked on articles, blogs and white papers as well digital UX copy.
Before working for herself, Charlotte was at O2 for over seven years. As their first in-house copywriter, she was responsible for ensuring consistency in tone of voice across all digital touchpoints. She also worked closely with the brand team, and created an internal wiki to help teach employees about O2’s way of writing.
Charlotte also managed the content and copy for the redesign of O2’s website, which has gone on to win Website of the Year, in both the overall and Telco categories, for three years running. Her last eight months with O2 saw her acting as Head of Channel Content within the Sales & Marketing Team, where she was responsible for all digital content.
