Crystal is a business leader who brings the pedigree of a strategy consulting background to the fast paced web-scale world of Google with a deep understanding of the technology industry. She leads Strategy and Operations for a $1bn segment of Google’s business in the UK & Ireland, defining the business plan and connecting this through to a pragmatic execution and operating model. Prior to this, Crystal was the Strategy and Marketing Lead for DoubleClick, Google’s ad-tech platform. Here, she inspired top UK media agencies to think differently about how DoubleClick technology can help them grow and innovate together with the world’s largest brands.
Crystal is an expert in designing and navigating transformational change in a fluid, flat and ever-changing environment be that be for a tech-giant like Google or a health tech start up, where as Chief Marketing Officer she helped grow the business from the ground all the way to Series A funding.
Crystal is passionate about mentoring women to help them succeed in the workplace and has spent many years coaching and mentoring young people from disadvantaged backgrounds on public speaking and presentation skills.
Crystal runs a women’s book club and in her spare time loves to read, listen to Radio 4 and drink sake.
