Coming from a background of Design and Innovation, Dan has spent the past 6 years building and launching new products, services and ventures at Growth Consultancy Bow & Arrow. As one of the company’s Creative directors, he helps business leaders make the creative leaps they need in order to adapt and thrive in today’s changing business landscape.
Dan challenges the traditional role of a designer from every angle. Day-to-day, he leads diverse teams of talented individuals to understand customer behaviour, evolving industry trends and emerging technologies to create innovative customer led propositions which businesses can launch in market with impact. He has a clear vision for the role of creative in business, and wants to see more designers in board rooms and c-suite roles, using their skills to solve the biggest challenges our generation faces and make real change.
He recently created a new digital challenger bank, launched a series of Mobility concepts for BMW/MINI and built a new business venture with the CEO of British Airways. Dan is fascinated by people and how best to both motivate and engage them, and loves the diverse individuals he meets in his role at Bow & Arrow.
Prior to entering the workplace, Dan set the world to rights whilst studying at Central Saint Martins. This was where he first found his interest in using design to respond to burning consumer issues – winning awards for his work and having projects exhibited in London and Milan.
Before joining Bow & Arrow, Dan tried his hand at the more artistic side of design – making furniture, sculpture and fine art at various studios and workshops across London. After a number of internships he swapped his paintbrush for a Macbook and threw himself into the wonders of graphic design.
