George Thole, Client Services Director, ingenuity

George has helped grow the UK’s leading agency and brand consultancy (ingenuity) over the last 3 years – since 2017.
As a member of its Senior Leadership Team, he has helped scale the business and develop key propositions in its offering, that now serves over 60 dynamic agencies & tech platforms as well as building relationships with a multitude of brands in key categories

He steers an ever growing team that creates and shapes new business opportunities and market positioning for a dynamic set of multi-discipline agencies from leading networks to the top-most creative independents. In the same vein, impactfully and creatively giving brands what they want. The team sit at the heart of a constantly evolving marketing landscape & its multiple stakeholder relationships.

He’s also overseen a number of key road-map initiatives within ingenuity from Digitisation, lifting ingenuity to a higher digital maturity model, created the “Ingenuiversity Training Program” that focuses on continuous staff improvement, building accountability and success across the individual, client and team. That’s helped foster a progressive and collaborative culture that’s led to high employee retention levels.

George achieves the much-needed balance with lots of travel in his free-time. As an individual who’s been lucky to grow-up in a number of cities and countries, it’s intrinsic to his world view and perspective, the highlight – making lasting connections in business and life.
Trying to play even the smallest part in paying it forward it drives his outlook and passion in seeing a more diverse marketing playing field. With that, he also founded a freelance Creative Consultancy working with various collective of outsourced creative talent from around the world. Working together in the early stages version of a “virtual agency” they focused on projects that they collectively actually enjoyed and were inspired by.

With both an extrovert- introvert personality, he enjoys both the world of travel & being social but equally loves to cook – a foodie, who isn’t? – and do stuff around the house.
