Helena Jennison, Marketing Director – Movember Foundation

Helena is UK Marketing Director for the Movember Foundation, the world’s largest men’s health organisation dedicated to changing the face of men’s health. For the last three years Helena has been responsible for the strategic planning & implementation of the marketing strategy for the annual Movember fundraising campaign in the UK and year-round health promotion campaigns. Her recent successes include contributing to a significant uplift in fundraising income for Movember 2017 and 2018, following a change in marketing strategy.

A penchant for fundraising through the face, Helena previously spent 5 years at Comic Relief, leading the new business drive for the corporate partnerships team where she was responsible for recruiting and managing the relationships with partners for Red Nose Day & Sport Relief. Helena led the team to deliver the biggest line up of new partners to date, including Specsavers who are now into their third year of partnering with the charity. Helena also spent the first 3 years at Comic Relief working in the Creative Team as Account Director where she delivered integrated creative campaigns working closely with internal and external creative teams and stakeholders across the charity.

Helena started her career at iris marketing agency on the graduate scheme, where she spent a year working on fast paced consumer goods before focusing on behaviour change campaigns for the government such as ‘Act on CO2’ for the Department for Energy and Climate Change. Her passion for developing brand purpose soon ensued.

Helena is a newly converted runner, having completed her first half-marathon last May and has her sights set on a sprint triathlon in August. A keen traveler, Helena took a career break 5 years ago and travelled around the world.
