Kate Peregrine, Head of Social Media – Dyson

Kate has worked at Dyson for nearly two years as Senior Commercial Manager. Kate and her team are responsible for the global marketing of the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer.

Before joining Dyson, Kate worked for Uber in their UK Brand team leading the launch of multiple UK cities, and rolling out best practice launch strategy across EMEA. She also led a number of major activations including partnering with Unilever on the global UberICECREAM activation. Kate was responsible for Uber’s first ATL campaign in the UK in 2016 which focused on bringing the human aspect of the Uber community to life through a multi-channel execution.

Kate began her career in a start up in Bristol running B2B events in the tech space. She was responsible for the growth of the global Apps World event series, launching it in a number of markets and delivering triple figure growth in multiple years. The highlight was Steve Wozniak keynoting the event in London – the series was acquired by Informa in 2014.

Outside of the day job Kate mentors local start ups and was one of the founding members of Dyson’s SheWorks initiative to support and inspire women. Kate lives in Bristol with her husband spending most weekends walking her dog – a whippet named Pepper.
