Riccardo Scotti di Uccio, Business Marketing Lead, Messaging & Emerging Platforms – Facebook

Riccardo has been working in tech across Europe for the last 8 years, helping businesses find their voice on YouTube, Twitter and now on Messenger at Facebook.

He is currently responsible for the Business Marketing strategy of Messenger and WhatsApp in Europe, Middle-East and Africa to grow the number of brands and businesses that leverage messaging as a critical marketing channel for their business.

Prior to his time at Facebook, Riccardo worked at Twitter to start up the Italian market, manage the initial growth of key businesses on the platform and launch the Product Marketing function in EMEA. In his role, Riccardo advised top digital native players and retail businesses such as Booking.com, Luxottica and Valentino and led the launch of new products in EMEA such as Performance ads solutions and In-Stream video.

Riccardo spent most of his life abroad, grew up in France and Italy before joining YouTube in Paris, joined Twitter in Dublin and now lives in London (he is originally from Rome, Italy).
