The Marketing Academy Newsletter January 2016

We had a very busy year in 2015 and 2016 will be even bigger….

Nominations for the 2016 Scholarship Programme are open!

Nominations are now open for The Marketing Academy’s 2016 Scholarship Programme. You have until Friday 19th February 2016 to nominate the best marketing talent you know for our free leadership development programme that turns the marketing talent of today into tomorrow’s business leaders. It’s a life changing programme of mentoring, coaching and bespoke learning so if you haven’t already made someone’s day by nominating them do it now by clicking here.

Here’s a link to a recent blog from a current Scholar describing how winning a place in the programme is a bit like campaigning for an election.

CMO Fellowship Programme Update

It’s been a busy time for the new cohort of 17 Senior Marketers recently awarded a place on the Fellowship Programme.  With thanks to British Airways, they’ve just returned from a packed 3 day stay at McKinsey and Co’s Alpine University in Kitzbuhel, Austria where they kicked off their 12 month Fellowship journey.   Whilst there they met with CEO’s, began their masterclass sessions in all areas of board stewardship and attended cutting-edge knowledge and leadership lectures moderated by global experts from McKinsey. They also (apparently) had a lot of fun in the snow!

Marketing Academy Australia – News from Down Under

Last year saw us opening the doors of the Academy in Australia and appoint the first cohort of the Australia Leaders Programme.

We ended the programme with a bang in Sydney with the graduating cohort delivering a ‘Showcase Lecture’ in front of 800 of Sydney’s most influential marketers. For those of us not lucky enough to be in Sydney at the time you can read some soundbites from the lecture here.

The selection process for the 2016 Australia Leaders Programme is well underway with over 200 of Australian’s nominated for a place on the programme. The 2016 cohort will be revealed in Sydney on the 2nd March!
