Catherine Moffatt, VP Global Shopper Planning & Cust Mrktg Centre of Excellence, Diageo

With experience working in 25 or more countries around the world, Catherine is a global marketer with a passion for retail of all kinds – bars and shops, modern and traditional – and getting close to consumers across different cultures and communities. After a number of years with Nabisco in Canada, the US and Latin America, she returned to Toronto from Buenos Aires and co-founded Trading-Up. Inc. a consultancy based on an innovative approach to understanding shopping behaviour that gave her the opportunity to work with top-tier CPG clients in diverse categories across Asia, Africa, and the Americas and ultimately led to the transformational role she has now with Diageo.

She is incredibly fortunate to be leading the creation of the Shopper Planning function globally for Diageo and to be building a community of amazing people motivated by discovering the deep consumer and shopper insights that will drive long-term growth for our categories, brands like Johnnie Walker, Tanqueray, Bailey’s and Guinness and our customers.
