Allison Stadd, VP, Brand Reach & Affinity, BARK

Allison is VP of Brand Reach & Affinity at BARK, the makers of BarkBox. BARK’s mission is to make dogs as happy as they make their humans. BARK is committed to creating the world’s best products, content, and experiences to satisfy every dog’s personality and preferences. Through dog-first, data-driven design (BARK creates 430+ original products per year), a hyper-engaged social community 7.5 million+ strong, and a customer satisfaction rating of 96% thanks to BARK’s industry-leading Happy Team, BARK sets a new standard of excellence in a rapidly growing industry.

Allison’s team is responsible for building the BARK brand and driving mass consumer awareness of our product lines across each of our distribution channels. Through inventive, relentless, and highly strategic partnerships, collaborations, experiences, and campaigns that get people talking online AND offline, the team keeps BARK top-of-mind in order to drive top-line sales across the organization.

Over the past decade, through full-time roles and consulting work, Allison has shaped brand architecture, created content, produced events, driven social media strategy, and built communities for everything from small businesses to global brands.

Prior to BARK, Allison was Director of Brand Marketing at fast casual chain Sweetgreen, overseeing brand identity, social media and content strategy, email, paid media, partnerships, influencers, and events. Before Sweetgreen, she was at the helm of Shake Shack’s award-winning global social media and digital marketing strategies, also leading brand, experiential, traditional advertising, and PR for half the U.S. Prior to Shake Shack, Allison handled digital communications, social media, and events for boutique agency Quaker City Mercantile’s portfolio of spirits brands, including Sailor Jerry and Hendrick’s.

Allison is a fan of great books and great beer with equal enthusiasm, and when she’s not at her laptop, you’ll find her at the nearest park — with her dog Franklin, of course.
