Bonnie has chosen to spend the majority of her career at companies sitting at pivotal moments of transformation. Most recently she took on the challenge of building Cengage Learning’s Consumer Marketing team from the ground up, while launching the education industry’s first-ever course material subscription service, Cengage Unlimited. Under her leadership, her team is responsible for full-funnel marketing strategy while simultaneously reshaping students’ relationship with the textbook industry. She is tasked with developing and upholding a relatable student brand, defining a differentiated voice and identifying effective channels to reach the student demographic.
Prior to joining Cengage Learning, Bonnie followed her passion for music and television to a career in entertainment and media. She spent five years in varying leadership roles at Pandora, where she sat at the intersection of B2B and B2C marketing, leveraging advertising partnerships to develop consumer facing marketing programs, custom content and live events including an annualized calendar of franchise programming.
Before Pandora, Bonnie was the Director, Integrated Marketing for Nickelodeon where she led the development of content driven cross-platform marketing partnerships with film studios and video game manufacturers, and held marketing positions at AOL, Universal Music Group and RCA Records.
A born and raised New Yorker, Bonnie is a proud graduate of New York University, holding a B.S in Media, Culture and Communications. She currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn with her husband and their rescue dog, Dobby. Bonnie is a fitness enthusiast, animal lover and entertainment junkie, and would love to share opinions on the newest boutique fitness craze, dog café or show to binge on Netflix.
