Carey Baldwin Hennigar is the Global Vice President, Intelligence at Storyful. In her role, she created and now leads, a commercial team that helps brands leverage social and digital media intelligence in order to identify strategic opportunities and identify reputational challenges. In her role, she has partnered with agencies and brands in the US, EMEA and APAC to create compelling campaigns and manage ongoing issues and crises born on or amplified through social media. Formerly of Thomson Reuters, and the Reuters news agency, she has started incubator teams that grew to global enterprise departments. Carey began her career as a broadcast journalist for CBS and attributes much of her success to learning early on that listening is the most important component of successful communication.
Throughout her career she has led teams and mentored young men and women both inside and outside of her organizations and through the start-up accelerator, MassChallenge. She has also held various board seats at education and youth sports non-profit organizations.
She splits her time between New York City and Boston and enjoys traveling, skiing and hiking with her two sons William and Teddy.
