Being a part of the Marketing Academy is like winning the National Lottery when it’s a double rollover. It has changed my life forever in the most positive way and allows me to share great things with people around me.
The Marketing Academy has made me believe in myself and my potential as a leader in a way I’d never fully felt, and backing it up with an MBA-level network of peers and C-suite mentors who I feel comfortable calling on for virtually anything to support my continued growth.
Not only am I developing my industry knowledge and building a wider network of peers, I am learning the vital skills to progress from ‘manager’ to ‘leader’. It’s transformed my way of thinking and introduced me to some of the most remarkable people in the industry, both my fellow scholars and the mentors and coaches. Central to the academy ethos is ‘pay it forwards’ meaning that we should share and teach as much as we can. The Scholarship is enabling me to share resources with my peers both in the UK and in Canada and the US and I have no doubt I am learning lifelong skills.
For me the Academy has all been about sharing. I still can’t believe the insights and stories that have been shared by industry leaders, faculty partners and the brilliant minds of scholars. This community of sharing has opened up a completely different future for me.
The Marketing Academy changed my future – it helped me realize my dream, the business leader I want to be and where my boundaries lay. It allowed me to have a massive injection of curiosity and is the reason I am now starting up my second business – anyone who doesn’t see how transformative it will be to them, their corporation and their life needs to look again.
