Following a competitive three-stage selection process, The Marketing Academy has proudly revealed the 30 marketing executives chosen to participate in the 2025 UK Scholarship Program. These exceptional individuals, representing client-side brands, media owners, agencies, and start-ups, have been selected to join one of the industry’s most prestigious development programs.
The announcement marks the 16th cohort selected for the yearly program, which is a free – yet highly selective – development program designed to prepare Scholars for board-level leadership roles through a combination of mentoring, executive coaching and three immersive residential Boot Camps. They will benefit from lectures, workshops and masterclasses led by inspiring speakers and renowned experts from across the globe. Their learning is also supplemented by enrolment for themselves and their teams on ‘The Marketing Academy Virtual Campus’, an online development program delivered exclusively to The Marketing Academy’s global community.
Sherilyn Shackell, Founder & Global CEO of The Marketing Academy, said: “We are incredibly excited to be announcing the next cohort, especially as 2025 sees us celebrating our 15th Birthday. We continue to be amazed by the talent coming through the Scholarship Program, and it’s a privilege to provide them with the mentorship, skills, knowledge and community to help them succeed in the industry.”
Natalie Benoy, former Scholar, current Co-Chair of The Marketing Academy UK Alumni Council, and Head of UK Android Marketing at Google, said: “The Marketing Academy was genuinely a life-changing experience for me. It undoubtedly made me a better marketing leader, but more importantly it made me a better and happier person and gifted me with a network that I turn to for invaluable help even after years after completing the program.”
Gina Hood, The Marketing Academy UK 2019 Scholar and Head of Growth & Client Partner at Pablo, said: “The Scholarship is so much more than a top professional development course: through its wealth of money-can’t-buy experiences and bonding with the most inspirational group of peers, you can discover your true values and motivations, helping you become the best version of yourself.”
The Marketing Academy UK 2025 Scholarship Program is made possible through the generous and invaluable support of its sponsors, including Salesforce, Accenture Song, Bazaarvoice, BT Group, ITV, KFC UK & Ireland, Mars Inc., PHD Media, and Workday.
