Anna Jackson, Creative Strategy Manager – IAG

After completing a degree and internship in architecture, Anna rewrote her future by becoming a marketing leader. Today she is responsible for the strategic and creative direction across all IAG brands in Australia, managing a multi-disciplined team and a roster of external agency partners. During her time at IAG, she has been at the helm of returning IAG’s most profitable brand – NRMA Insurance – to growth and helping it become an industry leading example of marketing effectiveness. Or as marketing professor Mark Ritson has put it, “NRMA is not just a fantastic Australian case study, it could be taught at Harvard, Stanford or London Business School to illustrate absolute global best practice.”

With 13 years’ experience across a variety of roles within creative agencies, brand consultancies, a start-up (of her own making) and most recently corporate marketing, she has a breadth of first-hand experience in solving complex brand problems. She relishes in creating work where both business and broader society benefit.

While she is no longer an architect of the built world, Anna is still passionate about the limitless potential of ideas, and more than that, creating the right environment for people to thrive by uncovering their unique potential. She is driven to create an industry culture that attracts and nurtures the brightest minds from all walks of life, ensuring a more diverse pool of talent for the next generation of marketers.
