Anna Rallos, Marketing Innovation Lead, IAG

Anna is passionate about the craft of marketing with experience across sales, category and innovation in top-tier FMCG and Insurance organisations. Her current role is as the Marketing Innovation Lead at IAG where she works with new brand acquisitions and start-ups in Firemark Labs Innovation and Venturing fund. She is a brand custodian, and protected the legacies of Red Bull, Nestle, Campbell Arnott’s and NRMA.

As Product Owner, Anna led the development of NRMA’s Safety Hub app which is the most awarded piece of work for IAG to date. The project has received accolades at Adobe APAC, Cannes Lions, Caples, Clio’s, Mumbrella, Tangrams and The One Show.

In 2015, Anna was one of 30 seconded to Google to participate in the inaugural Google Squared program. Here, she received the course award for Next Generation Leader, as voted by peers and mentors.

Anna is looking to elevate the role of marketing to be a discipline worthy of the next generation.

She believes that equality of opportunity can be obtained through education. She lives these values by participating in student mentoring programs through the Australian Business Council Network and The University of Sydney’s Next Innovation Accelerator.

Her alter-ego, Sparkles, bakes a mean birthday cake and can always be relied upon to keep her teammates in a calorie surplus. On weekends, Sparkles can be found meandering art galleries, at the theatre, playing tennis and to the detriment of her bank account, horse riding.
