Ed Steiner, Managing Partner – Hall & Partners

Ed is the Managing Partner of Global Insights firm Hall & Partners in Australia, a global boutique insights agency focussing on brand, communications and strategic marketing insights. With 20 years’ experience delivering insights across a range of industries, Ed is passionate to unearth uncommon insights to deliver light bulb moments for his clients. His energy and infectious enthusiasm lend itself ideally to agency land where he can switch from financial services to tourism and back to tech in a single day.

Ed’s career has seen him gain considerable experience across a range of industries including financial services, education, retail and tech disruptors. Furthermore, he has worked in and for the global tourism industry as an expert tourism insights consultant to national bodies, aviation and cruise lines. He has published a range of articles on different aspects of the global tourism industry and has spoken at events across Australia on this industry he is so passionate about.

Ed’s career has evolved from marcomms where he worked in PR, events and sponsorship through to where he is today as a leading insights consultant. As a leader, he is passionate about business rejuvenation and developing young talent, focussing on both their professional and personal development. Prior to his current role, Ed has held roles at Kantar, PwC, Tourism Australia and PowerTel. He has collected insights in more than 70 countries and presented these insights around the globe.

Outside of work, Ed is the father of four young boys and shares with them and his wife a passion for music, theatre, cricket and football. Having married into an Italian family, Ed loves to cook and imagines an alternative universe where he is competing in Masterchef.
