Lewis leads social media and influence at integrated communications agency, Herd MSL. In this role he works across consumer, corporate and government organisations to connect them to their audiences through culture, and measurably change belief and behaviours. In the seven years since becoming the agency’s first social hire, Lewis has built a team of 15 experts across strategy, creative, media, production and design, to offer standalone and integrated communication services for its client roster. He became a partner in the business before its sale to Publicis in 2017.
Lewis has since developed the agency’s influencer offering under Publicis, which has become a core offering of many of the agency’s consumer and corporate clients. Working with clients such as P&G, Telstra, the Department of Social Services, Adyen and IGA, he develops smart and strategic visions for his clients, which are realised through technically excellent delivery.
Prior to joining Herd MSL, Lewis worked at Flagship Consulting in London. Starting in public relations, he launched the agency’s digital and creative services divisions, where he built his credentials in social first, integrated comms. Lewis is an active participant in the industry, speaking at CommsCon, sitting on awards panels, and providing industry commentary for Sky News, Financial Times, B&T, AFR and Sydney Morning Herald.
He mentors a number of social media and marketing professionals who are working in house, and at start-ups. Outside of work, Lewis is passionate about culture and the arts. He plays the piano and cares for his dog, Bow, and his vast array of plants.
