Adam runs Marketing at Global, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies. As well as being Europe’s largest commercial radio group (including Capital, Heart, LBC, Radio X and Classic FM) Global is also one of the UK’s leading outdoor media businesses and its second largest festival operator.Adam and his team are responsible for areas across the Marketing spectrum, including Brand Marketing, Comms, Events and a newly-formed Customer Service function. Adam also leads Global Enterprise, a commercial part of the business comprising brand partnerships, premium rate services and music products. He is passionate about getting more people to spend to more time with Global, by building and nurturing the UK’s most loved media and entertainment brands.
Before joining Global Adam was Marketing Director for Microsoft’s Mobile Devices division, responsible for the development and delivery of Microsoft’s smartphone Marketing strategy. The team was responsible for making Lumia the UK’s fastest smartphone brand in 2013 and 2014, going from zero to 10% marketing share in 18 months.
Previous to this Adam headed-up Consumer Marketing for Nokia across West Europe and, from 2003 to 2011, he was lucky enough to spend eight years living in Sydney, Australia. He started out in creative agencies (Euro RSCG, George Patterson / Y&R in Sydney) before taking his first client-side role at Nokia Australia in 2006.
Adam lives in London with his wife Romi and their two young daughters.
